The Blackthorn
A nascent legend-spren shaped by what people had thought, told, and believed about the Blackthorn — the warlord persona Dalinar had outgrown. In one of Honor's visions Dalinar had Connected to and given memories to a version of himself that performed acts of peace; the stories of the Blackthorn ran deeper still, and what crystallized has Dalinar's skill and stubborn force of will without the weight of his life's regrets — and pledges itself to Retribution as a champion.
