Inadara
A wizened, grey-haired scribe who keeps her hair short and her trust earned. Dalinar picks her to attend Adolin at the Parshendi parley because he wants Navani kept clear of risk. SA:WoR:Ch 51
Events
- SA:WoR:Ch 51 Carried up on a palanquin, then walks alongside Adolin to the centre of the plateau, transcribing the parley and relaying Dalinar's words back to Adolin by spanreed.
- SA:WoR:Ch 81 Presses Shallan for a useful answer, suspects Pattern of being a Voidspren, and recoils when he hands the insult back to her.
- SA:WoR:Ch 83 Walks the dais beside Shallan no longer dismissive — for the first time admitting she no longer trusts her own judgement after Shallan's leap was right.
- SA:WoR:Ch 84 Enters with the scholars, gasps at the mosaic, and tells Shallan she no longer trusts her own judgement about what is true and what is false.
- SA:WoR:Ch 85 Confirms to Shallan that none of the mural inscriptions can be read — *all in the Dawnchant* — and turns to Renarin when he begins to break.
- SA:WoR:Ch 86 Stares as Shallan glows with drained Stormlight and asks how she is doing this — the first scholar to break before the realisation that their bookish young Brightness is a Radiant.
