King's Masks
A semi-legendary order of secret assassins reputedly maintained by the King for missions of state — never more than five at any one time, supposedly the elite of the elite, said to take youth potions to disguise their age. Their cover requires them to lie about what they are when asked, which conveniently means anyone who denies being one is plausibly one. Huck is open to the possibility that they do not actually exist and that the rumours themselves are the King's point. STD:Tress:Ch 29
