A wispy-bearded, blue-eyed lieutenant of the Wall Guard whose squad finds Kaladin loitering by the wall and, instead of harassing him, offers him a free meal at their barracks. Personable as a merchant trying to sell earrings — drops obvious sales pitches about beds and pay and how few watches they pull — and notably has no objection to a Sadeas-branded deserter. - SA:OB:Ch 69 His patrol stops Kaladin under the wall, recognises the shash brand, and on his sworn word offers a free meal at the Wall Guard barracks.
- SA:OB:Ch 70 Sits beside Kaladin on the bench, makes a soft pitch for re-enlistment, looks uncomfortable when the squad mentions the highmarshal's sex, and takes Kaladin up onto the wall with Azure.
- SA:OB:Ch 73 Leads the patrol along the inside base of the wall, coaches the squad through the grain hand-off to Velalant's troops, and is the ranking officer when the Fused strafe the parapet — keeps the pike block from breaking ranks.
