Paintings and poems sent to a Returned god by Hallandren patrons hoping for a blessing. The god looks at each and gives a reaction; lesser priests transcribe the words verbatim and read them as an augury — for good or for ill — to the patron, then burn the artwork, which only the god is allowed to see.
