The ten classical Alethi postures for fighting with a long blade — one stance per Essence — taught more as philosophies of combat than fixed sequences of moves. Three are named in the dueling arena at the warcamps: Windstance, Flamestance, and Ironstance. SA:WoR:Ch 14
