Tukari Caravan

A dark, lampless human caravan camped outside the coastal waystop: brown-skinned, black-haired men and women in coarse Makabaki cloth with braided waist tassels. They carry visible cudgels and concealed edged weapons, refuse to talk to outsiders, and — to Adolin's ear — speak with a Tukari accent.
