Zane's chest spike

A metal spike driven entirely through Zane's body, head resting against his sternum, point protruding between his shoulder blades. He never speaks of it and avoids cloaks because the protruding tip rubs against the cloth; his mind drifts when he tries to think about it directly. Until this chapter, the reader is given no signal that it has any meaning beyond a private injury. MB1:WoA:Ch 46
