A fingernail-sized shard of misaligned, mirror-broken air that appears beside Nomad's head on the deck of the Dawnchaser after his fight on the way back to Beacon — he recognises it at once as a piece of his old armor, the kind Aux had previously told him was dead and consumed. He wonders if it has returned because he fought again, or because of *why* he fought again. STD:TSM:Ch 39
