Curates
The senior council of the Vorin ardentia, headquartered at the Holy Enclave in Valath. In theory the Alethi king is head of the church; in practice the curates guide doctrine. After the fall of the Hierocracy much of their pomp was supposedly dismantled, but their staves are still wound with gemstones and their robes are blue rather than the brown of ordinary ardents. They proclaim Dalinar Kholin heretic, excommunicate, and anathema for his preaching that the Almighty is not God. SA:OB:Ch 100
