Head of one of the street gangs near the university — a young man in a bowler and a bow tie with the sleeves torn off his shirt. Polite as muggers go, and reliable enough that Wayne uses him as a fixed point in that part of town: he plays cards with him, owes him money, and pays him fifty notes to bolt across the front gate wearing his hat so that the watching guards will chase the wrong man.
