The Eila Stele
An ancient stone-carved record, said to be among the oldest in written memory and scribed by the Heralds themselves. Reads as a warning written by one of Roshar's native singers about strangers who arrived begging from a destroyed world — strangers the carver names Voidbringers. SA:OB:Ch 111

- voidbringer-translationWhen the Dawnchant translation finally arrives, the carved warning reveals itself as a Dawnsinger account from before the first Desolation: refugees came from another world via powers of spren and Surges that had destroyed their homeland, the singers took them in out of pity, and were betrayed. The stele names the otherworlders Voidbringers; the otherworlders were humans.SA:OB:Ch 111
