Enlightened

The standing term, on the Ghostblood and Radiant side both, for Sja-anat's children — children-spren the Unmade has *Enlightened* away from their parent-Shard's affinity so they can bond a human or singer. An Enlightened spren grants Surges across orders, has stronger Connection to the Spiritual Realm than its uncorrupted kin, and accepts bondees other orders would reject — but its bondee carries a visible precursor-glow when they move, an afterimage of the spren acting alongside them. Renarin, Rlain and (Shallan now suspects) Iyatil and Mraize are all Enlightened-bonded. SA:WaT:Ch 31
