Scadrian gravity bracer
A Scadrian device clamped around an ankle that increases the wearer's effective body weight by altering local gravity — a piece of equipment originally used on low-gravity worlds for muscle conditioning. The Cinder King's TimeTeller friends supplied him a version turned up to combat use: three to four standard gravities, calibrated to leave the captive conscious but barely able to lift their own arms. He locks one onto Zellion's leg in the staged duel at Union's central square. STD:TSM:Ch 49
Events
- STD:TSM:Ch 49 Locked onto Zellion's ankle and left there for the duration of the duel; calibrated high enough that he can barely raise his fists.
- STD:TSM:Epilogue Still clamped to Zellion's ankle on the next world. He cuts it off with Aux reshaped as a sword and stretches, freed from a thousand pounds — and immediately re-shouldered with a different kind of weight.
