Tiered states of perception and power granted by accumulating large amounts of BioChromatic Breath. The First sharpens awareness of other people; the Second grants perfect pitch; the Third grants perfect colour perception; higher levels reach further. Reaching a Heightening requires holding the threshold count — donate the Breath away and the gift goes with it. The Hallandren God King alone reaches the Tenth, which fractures pure white into a prismatic halo and lets him Awaken with the sound of his voice. STD:WB:Ch 15
