Idotris
A grumpy teenage Elantrian boy roughly two years older than Matisse, regulated to child-care at the Roost rather than allowed to join Dashe's training soldiers. Resents the assignment, but follows orders the night New Elantris is attacked and helps lead the children to safety with a lantern. EL:HoE:Prologue

- EL:HoE:Prologue Sits at the door of the Roost in his usual grump, calling the adults' Aons useless and watching that none of the children sneak out.
- EL:HoE:Prologue Wakes the children at Matisse's sharp order, takes a lantern, and helps shepherd them out of the Roost toward the edge of New Elantris.
