Innate's Corruption Letters
also known as the governor's letters, the letters
A bundle of obfuscated correspondence Innate keeps in a hidden floor-safe in his saferoom — coded promises of political favours traded for bribes, half a dozen of them, with annotations in his own hand reminding himself which house got what. Tariffs raised against outside refined steel for a favourable land deal; a judge's seat handed to a Hammondess scion; matched, line for line, with Marasi's statistical records of suspicious legislative events during his tenure. Not a smoking gun without a lot of explaining — but, as Marasi puts it, *a very warm one*. MB2:SoS:Ch 18
