Johnst
The farmer convicted, hanged, and buried for blowing the eastern dam open with too much dynamite — *an accident* to ruin a neighbour's harvest that destroyed the whole valley's. Defence witnesses called him erratic and obviously mad; at trial he could not remember the names of his own children. His grave was desecrated two nights later, *suspected to be the work of those who lost family in the flood*. Marasi and MeLaan read these two facts the other way around: this was not Johnst by the end. MB2:SoS:Ch 14
