Rose Spores
The pink-red spores of the Rose Sea — small grains the colour of pink salt. Mixed with water they crystallise into roseite. A sprouter working with them quickly learns that growing crystals reach toward an iron tool and shy away from a silvered one, which is what lets the patch be shaped to a hole. STD:Tress:Ch 25
