A small drifting orb of light, about a head across, with a foreign glyph burning at its centre. Wit keeps one as a long-distance speaking instrument: when a call comes through, the sphere shapes itself into a soft blue-white rendering of the caller's face and voice, and collapses back to a quiet ball when the conversation ends.
