Seran River

The river that drains the Basin's southern end past New Seran, cutting a strikingly straight gorge through the hills as it leaves the highlands. The southbound rail line hugs the hilltops and crosses the river two or three times on tall latticework bridges, the gorge dropping hundreds of feet below the tracks. MB2:BoM:Ch 7
