Song of Stones
An ancient, sonorous rhythm — older than the listeners' surviving rhythms, set to a single pure tone — that the stones of Roshar themselves can sing when a Radiant of the right kind opens Cohesion on them. Venli hears it for the first time on the eighth floor of Urithiru, where the stones greet her as Radiant and shaper and show her, in rippling pictures along the floor, images of Dawnsingers dipping wood into stone to draw out tools and shaping bowls with their fingers.
