The Sorceress's island

A small slate-grey rock skerry rising from the Midnight Sea, suspiciously circular and only a couple of hundred yards wide, with a few stunted trees and the silver-coated tower at the centre. The approach is its first line of defence: jagged rock reefs barely peeking through the spores make sailing in blind effectively suicide. Ranks of golden metal men with spears and shields stand around the tower as the second line. STD:Tress:Ch 58
