The Sprouter's Cabin

Weev's old room on the middle deck of the Crow's Song, now given over to Tress as the new ship's sprouter. Long and narrow, with a bunk, a worktable beneath a wall-mounted mirror and drawers, a porthole at the end, and — opening off the corner — a closet-sized stall with a basin, drain and spigot that doubles as a bath. The walls are reinforced with aluminum and the hull beyond is lined with silver in case of breach, but unlike the rest of the ship the floor has no silver at all — so that the sprouter can work with live spores without killing them on contact.
