In Shu-Dereth doctrine, the souls of the dead who hated Jaddeth in life — bitter, opponent spirits able, by accepted teaching, to seize and ride the bodies of the evil. Hrathen decides to brand the Elantrians as Svrakiss to give the populace something hateable to rally against. EL:EL:Ch 6
