Aon Rao

Four circles around a central square, all linked by short lines — the Aon of *spirit*. In the Hoed Raoden glimpses Aon Rao mapped onto the ground he walks: Elantris is the square, the four outer cities (Kae and three ruined ones) are the circles, the four straight roads between are the lines. The city itself is the figure, the AonDor working of all workings — and Raoden now sees that until the Chasm modifier is drawn into it, the great figure has not been able to function since the Reod.
