Blackout Grenade

A one-shot device from John's world that delivers a forced shock through a target's nanite system, dropping each augment offline and forcing a reboot sequence — enough to knock the user unconscious until the system comes back up. Expensive, single-use, and impractical for most jobs, since anything strong enough to fry augments will also injure flesh. Ryan's team carries one as part of their scout kit; his pointed-beard man calls it an aelv stunning device. STD:FWH:Ch 26
