The Canton of Orthodoxy
The principal administrative arm of the Steel Ministry. Its obligators witness contracts, weddings, divorces, land sales, and inheritances throughout the empire — and by the Lord Ruler's law, anything an obligator has not witnessed has not happened. Tattooed eye-marks distinguish a Canton of Orthodoxy obligator from those of the other Cantons. MB1:TFE:Ch 23
