Cognitive Realm
The realm of the mind — one of three components of every thing, alongside body and soul. Jasnah teaches Shallan that this realm is not a distant place but an unseen aspect of the world they already occupy, perceivable through senses humans do not normally use, and that Shadesmar is its visible face. - minds-as-candle-flamesOn her second visit to Shadesmar, Shallan sees that each nearby person shows up in the Cognitive Realm as a free-hovering flame with no candle beneath it, fish minds as tinier scatterings, and that artifacts like a ship have their own beads whose weight matches the entire object's significance.SA:WoR:Ch 7
