A massive riveted span carrying both road and rail across the Irongate River at the eastern edge of Elendel — wide enough for motorcars and trains, tall-towered, half-engulfed by mist at night. Its tower lights are the last lights in the city as you face the dark countryside beyond. Where Wax, in his bleak hour, lands to think about Harmony and Lessie before turning back into the city.
