Golden forearm bracers worn by the ember warriors and forced onto Nomad before he is thrown into the arena. From a handheld controller Glowing Eyes can pull body heat through them — leaving the wearer's breath visibly misting and their muscles locked rigid in seconds, dropping them unconscious — apparently the leash by which he keeps his Invested warriors obedient.
