built-as-a-fortress-for-stormsThe Grand Indicium sits at what was the highest point of the ground that became Yeddaw; the city was carved down around it and the land sloped further away on every side, leaving the rounded bunker isolated. Sloped ramp-paths spiral up to its entrances. The result is a hardened archive that storms slide past, with Tashikki crowds streaming in and out from below.SA:ED:Ch 12

SA:ED:Ch 11 Seen for the first time — a rounded stone bunker at the highest point of Yeddaw, visible above the trench-tops, ringed by a deep cut in the rock so storms slide past it. Lift picks it out as the place a city of writers would hoard its writings.
SA:ED:Ch 12 Seen up close from the field-rim above Yeddaw — the streets curl in toward it, a deep ring has been cut around the bunker, and crowds of Tashikki flow in and out by spiral walkways.
