The Lower Bands Chamber

A low-ceilinged second chamber beneath the inner room of the Sovereign's temple, reached by the pit-trap floor under the empty dais. A small white-stone pedestal at the far end displays a set of bracers under a soft blue ceiling lamp, ringed by four concentric circles of frozen, masked corpses — the temple's original keepers, sat down in warm clothes to wait out their dwindling heat metalminds. A pressure plate near the pedestal is rigged to drop the entire ceiling. MB2:BoM:Ch 27
