Moonday
A religious observance on Tress's world, held at the top of an island under the relevant moon. On a Verdant Moonday on the Rock, the congregation could watch the sun centre exactly behind the Verdant Moon — a true eclipse that happens only twice a year, distinct from the ordinary daily moonshadow. Visiting preachers used the occasion to speak about respecting the moons and about the purpose of life, on which no two of them ever quite agreed. STD:Tress:Ch 40
