- STD:Tress:Ch 7 Stands at the helm chatting with the helmsman as Tress watches the spores; explains silver and the seethe to the nervy "inspector".
- STD:Tress:Ch 7 Steps too close, compliments Tress's hair, and walks her down toward the cabins under the quarterdeck.
- STD:Tress:Ch 8 Offstage but acting: as the chapter opens Tress is in the hold because the captain had her drink poisoned and caged her, having mistaken her for a real royal inspector onto his forged-writ smuggling.
- STD:Tress:Ch 10 Shouts course corrections to Gustal at the wheel, rounds on Dorp for hauling the "inspector" topside, and on hearing the plan promptly orders Tress hoisted high on the quarterdeck rim as a human flag of truce.
