Place of Ritual
The fenced patch of extra-hot stone at the edge of a Torish village where a yoki-hijo performs her summoning. A village generally has only one — the spirits are said to grow jealous of one another — and only the yoki-hijo enters the fence. The stone is hot enough to hurt without being deadly; for hours her audience watches from outside while she stacks rocks for the hijo. STD:YNP:Ch 4
