Shay-I
The persona Moonlight becomes when she presses the Essence Mark to her wrist, fuelled by the jar of pure Investiture from the lab shack. Her hair shrinks to a glowing bob and her skin burns from within with a clean white light, lifting her up onto her toes as power swirls around her. She speaks in a higher voice, calls Marasi *child*, addresses her as a divinity addressing a mortal, and styles herself *Shay-I, Blessed of the Shay-ode*. She does not remember the Basin or her own prior self, and accepts requests only when framed as boons. MB2:TLM:Ch 54

- MB2:TLM:Ch 54 Manifests when the Essence Mark takes — glowing skin, luminous bob — sketches a Basin map on the floor without recognising it, seals the failing door with traced light, conjures a hollow duplicate of Marasi to fool the trackers, and dismisses her with an instruction to be properly pious.
