Tranquility Officers

The Set's in-town security force in Wayfarer, dressed and named so as to feel like a neighborhood watch rather than a garrison. Residents are instructed to *report sightings* to their local tranquility officer, never to engage suspicious outsiders themselves; the conceit is comfort, the function is policing. MB2:TLM:Ch 56
