VarSell
A Fifth Generation kandra who guards TenSoon after a year in the prison pit and escorts him to the Trustwarren for his trial. VarSell wears a quartz True Body left translucent under his skin so the stone catches the fungal light, in the fashion the Second Generation's favoured pups prefer. MB1:HoA:Ch 7
Events
- MB1:HoA:Ch 7 Receives TenSoon in the prison chamber after TenSoon forms a body around the bones VarSell has tossed him, then escorts him through back corridors toward the Trustwarren with three Potency-bearing guards.
- MB1:HoA:Ch 9 Marches TenSoon onto the platform at the centre of the Trustwarren and steps back to take his place with the other Fifths before the trial opens.
- MB1:HoA:Ch 24 Approaches TenSoon's cage with other large Fifths and a heavy sack — the dog bones TenSoon had worn back to the Homeland — and orders him to wear them to the sentencing, taking pleasure in the humiliation. He does not see, behind the Blessing of Presence smile he gives TenSoon, that he has just handed his prisoner the means of escape.
