Captain Blantach
Tall, short-blond-haired captain of the Bilming city constables, in stiff buttoned uniform. A career conner who has held her job longer than Reddi — visibly senior to him, no interest in the judgeship or attorney track that ambitious constables jump to. Marasi met her at an intercity training event the year before and finds her exactly as exasperated as expected to discover an Elendel sting being run inside her city without warning. MB2:TLM:Ch 22

- MB2:TLM:Ch 22 Pushes through her own constables to confront Marasi, demands to know why an Elendel sting is being run in her city, and reluctantly opens to cooperation when Marasi frames the threat as bigger than either jurisdiction.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 23 Knocked off her feet by the duralumin-amplified Steelpush, rallied by Marasi and tackled to safety behind a truck; rises with the Bilming city constables to her name and helps organise the joint defensive line.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 26 Re-enters the interrogation room in a clean uniform, frazzled; she has brought the lord mayor with her.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 27 Stands beside Entrone in the interrogation room, confirms the technicality of his jurisdiction claim, then quietly apologises to Marasi after he leaves.
- MB2:TLM:Ch 29 Catches Marasi on the constabulary steps, warns that Entrone will turn against them as soon as the shock wears off, and inserts *Kim* into their party as the price of her cover.
