The strip of the planet just past sunset where heavy, persistent cloud cover blots out even the reflected light of the rings. Cool, scattered rain washes through it constantly. Nomad guesses the cover is the afterbreath of the day side's superheated water flashing into vapour as the slow rotation drags the surface into sudden darkness, then cooling. The hovercities he saw earlier did not enter it; the people who flee his rescuer hide in it. STD:TSM:Ch 6
