Hunter Mask

The mask worn for life by one of the Hunters — wood with bits of coloured glass set into it in a distinctive pattern, covering the top half of the face and running down the sides to expose the mouth. The skin at the mask's edges seems to have melded with the wood, supporting Allik's claim that Hunters *grow into* the mask they are given in childhood. Wax recognises the trapped corpses in the temple hallway as Hunters by these masks. MB2:BoM:Ch 23
