Lopen
also known as The Lopen
The one-armed Herdazian bridgeman of Bridge Four — and, in a Herdazian hovel in Sebarial's warcamp while his mother scolds the king of Alethkar for not finishing his food, the second of the new Knights Radiant to begin Surgebinding. After daily practice with a sphere since Kaladin started glowing, he draws in Stormlight for an eyeblink, and feels a new nub of flesh sprouting from his shoulder scar. SA:WoR:Ch 87
A one-armed, brown-haired Herdazian with crystalline slate-colored fingernails, an old slave brand he has somehow not let beat him down, and a fast-talking accent. Calls strangers gancho or gon. Assigned to Bridge Four because no other crew wanted a one-armed bridgeman; Kaladin picks him out and claims him before Gaz can argue. SA:WoK:Ch 32 superseded at SA:WoR:Ch 87
