A nervous junior sailor aboard the Pewternaut A16 on its run to Elendel. He volunteered for the duty under the impression that the largest steel-hulled warship ever built would be the safest place to be once the war started, has misunderstood the *reward* he believes is owed to him at journey's end, and is the first sailor to see Wax climb up over the aft railing with a spike in his chest.
