Shallan's eldest brother — a Shardbearer who went to Alethkar on his "new friends'" work and was killed there a year ago by Highlord Amaram, who took the Plate and Blade as his own. The "Parshendi Shardbearer" Kaladin felled on the Shattered Plains was Helaran in that stolen armor. SA:WoR:Ch 52
