A young painter in Nikaro's former school clique — trousers, sweatshirt, and a habit of looking up strangers in a thick reference book to read their fortunes. She is the inventor (or, as she insists, the rediscoverer from a previous life) of the dramascope, a fortune-telling system based on hion-line drama episode guides. STD:YNP:Ch 16

- STD:YNP:Ch 16 Looks up Yumi's fabricated birth year and month in her reference book and reads her a dramascope from the first wedding episode of a drama, predicting great luck and good promises for the day.
- STD:YNP:Ch 21 Grabs Yumi's hand and starts bouncing in place when she agrees to come.
- STD:YNP:Ch 21 Holds up a newspaper, breaks the news of the launch, declares she will date at least one hot alien per her dramascope, and asks why Yumi does not seem to follow the news.
- STD:YNP:Ch 26 Arrives in white at the clique's table, drops her usual frivolity, and is the first to tell Yumi flatly that her brother is a liar.
- STD:YNP:Ch 27 Drops her usual frivolity to lead the indictment — lays out Nikaro's year of lying about the Dreamwatch in dead-serious detail, punches a chair, declares he would have wandered off and let someone get eaten on patrol, and is the most certain of them all that the new stable nightmare story is also a lie.
- STD:YNP:Ch 30 Called in from her patrol, lands the suggestion that Nikaro saw the nightmare weeks ago and *fled* the city, then teases Masaka about her morbid hobbies while the broadcast crowd fills in around them.
- STD:YNP:Ch 33 Announces that an extra episode of Seasons of Regret resurrected Sir Ashinata, abandons drama-horoscope for a career as a viewer critic, and is one of the painters who shies away from Yumi's anger.
- STD:YNP:Ch 39 Sceptical of Painter's account — *you believe him? Really?* — but does not refuse to come.
- STD:YNP:Ch 40 In the line of painters when the nightmares hit; freezes briefly in front of one until Painter shoves her aside and paints it down himself.
