Shrine

A small open-sided structure where a visiting yoki-hijo kneels for her ritual prayers before a summoning. Most are set in walled gardens of cold stone so flowers can spin low; some towns site theirs in working orchards or other cultivated land instead, and decorate the roofs with spirit statues left over from past summonings.
