A pre-imperial king, one of the last leaders to put up meaningful resistance against the man who would become the Lord Ruler during his conquests. Sazed and Tindwyl work from a partial biography that records the king's own explanation for his defeat: not his soldiers' failure against koloss but the Deepness's depletion of the food stores his people could not both farm and fight to replace.
