A red-haired scout lieutenant under Demoux's old command in Luthadel, left behind with King Penrod when the army marched on Fadrex. One of four messengers Penrod sent east to ask Elend for resupply; the only one to arrive, having shaken off a pack of koloss by baiting them onto his horse and slipping away while they butchered it. Penrod never received the supply request; Luthadel is rioting; Conrad is one of four messengers and the only one to arrive, having shaken a koloss band off by feeding it his horse.
