Leader of the First Generation of the kandra and Sazed's primary interlocutor at the Homeland. His voice is aged and wheezing, and he is the elder who first speaks the kandra cosmology aloud — and who, with the others' eyes, points Sazed at what is hidden beneath the Trustwarren's dais.
